Curtis Ray Cline, 83, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Born on April 23, 1942, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Creola Cline, Curtis spent his formative years on a family farm in Putnam, Oklahoma — an upbringing that instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity. Curtis pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned a degree in business and proudly served as president of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

Shortly after graduation, he answered the call to serve his country. As a helicopter pilot in Vietnam in 1965, Curtis demonstrated extraordinary courage and leadership, earning the Bronze Star for his service in the United States Army. After his military service, Curtis began a long and successful career in the financial services industry. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1967 as a Financial Advisor and later moved to Reynolds Securities in 1973, where he took on management responsibilities.

Over nearly four decades — culminating in his retirement from Morgan Stanley in 2006 — Curtis was deeply committed to his clients, taking genuine pride in helping them reach their life goals. He was known not only for his financial acumen but also for his unwavering honesty and care.

Outside of work, Curtis lived a life rich in love and adventure. He and his beloved wife Ruby shared a passion for golf and world travel, exploring countless destinations together and forging lifelong memories along the way. To his family and friends, Curtis was a warm presence, quick with a kind word, and always ready with a story. His greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved most.

Curtis’s life was a testament to service, dedication, and compassion. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Creola Cline; Sister, Linda Butcher Bluejacket; and late wife, Doris Lee Cline.

Curtis is survived by his wife Ruby Cline; Children, Bryan Cline Darla Cline, Brad Cline and wife Dawn Cline, Ronda Allan, Becky Disney, Steve Disney, Shelley Graham and husband Shane Graham; Grandchildren, Zachary Cline, Kylie Letton and husband Lewis Letton, JB Cline, Gillian Cline, Rebecca Cline, Rachael Cline, Colby Graham, and Peyton (Toni) Disney; Great-grandchildren, Griffin Letton, Lyla Letton, Darrell Cline; As well as a host of extended family members and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone at Iris Memory Care who loved Curtis, and took such wonderful care of him. They would also like to especially thank all their wonderful family and friends who continued to love and support him in so many ways.

A visitation will be held for Curtis from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Downtown Oklahoma City, with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
