CFD ready to embrace wintry trouble

As cold winter weather grows closer, the Clinton Fire Department is preparing for the added challenges it brings to its job and encouraging the people of Clinton to continue practicing important winter safety measures into the new year.

Gathering at the Administration and Technology Building for its regular monthly meeting, the Clinton Public Schools Board of Education held a brief session Monday evening where members discussed the Capital Improvement Projects, the possible bond election and their growing student body.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas across western Oklahoma just under two weeks away from the big day and with that, Foss State Park has plans for many holiday activities across the park this weekend.
