Museum in need of several volunteers

Oklahoma Route 66 Museum Director Pat Smith believes there is a common misconception concerning the amount of visitors her facility receives. She said some may see their small-town museum and assume it only survives due to maybe city or state tax dollars. While it is a state entity, this assumption could not be further from the truth.

Dashya Grimes, 18, of Clinton, has been charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation after an incident on Dec. 18 in which Grimes allegedly believed a juvenile victim was possessed by a demon.

The official start of the Exit 65 interchange project is less than a year away but City officials say there is still a long ways to go before the Oklahoma Department of Transportation can officially open the project for bid letting next November as the City races the clock to complete utility line relocation before the project risks delay.
