An Arizona woman and her passenger died Saturday morning as a result of injuries suffered from a single-car accident on Interstate 40, just east of Sayre.
The City of Clinton has yet to decide on a path forward for the M.T. and Helen Gholston Children’s Park, located at Acme Brick Park, after the more than 20-year-old playground was hit by vandals earlier this year leaving behind damage that resulted in the closure of the equipment and the City to look at costly repairs.
Good news has come for the City of Clinton’s damaged water tower located at the intersection of 18th Street and Broadway Avenue after reports from engineers revealed that while the roof will need a full replacement, the rest of the tower is structurally sound and only in need of regular maintenance.
