Arapaho-Butler Elementary is hosting a Pancake Supper and a Literacy Fair from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 20, which will occur alongside a week-long book fair running from Feb. 19-23. Principal Brad Southall said the supper is an annual event at A-B schools since before he became elementary principal. The addition of a literacy and book fair are welcome additions, said Southall, as all of the proceeds from the event go toward the Teacher’s Classroom Fund. The Pancake Supper will be open to the entire community and free of charge, but there will be a donation box present at the door for those that choose to support the school. Southall said they will serve pancakes, sausage, water, tea and – of course – milk.
