As the April 2 election approaches, voters in the City of Clinton will have the chance to cast their ballots on a proposed franchise agreement between the City and Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG).

Bethany Baptist Church has brought renowned musician and educator Dr. Kwabena Williams to kick off an immersive workshop celebrating the rich cultural heritage of West African music and dance to Clinton community this week.
Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee, who was born in Clinton and went to school in Merritt, will be one of three surviving Congressional Medal of Honor recipients with Oklahoma ties to be honored April 1 at the State Capitol. A plaque will be presented in the Oklahoma Hall of Heroes on the second floor.
