The broadcasting class at Clinton High School recently embarked on an educational trip to Nashville, Tenn. Accompanied by their teacher Ashley Kelley and sponsors Rachel Ray and Stephen Whitaker, who served as their local liaison, the students immersed themselves in the city’s music scene, touring iconic venues, studios, and museums.
The results of the April 2 election have been announced, with voters deciding on several issues that will shape the future of Clinton. The ballot included a City issue regarding the Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) franchise agreement and two significant matters for the Clinton School District: a school bond proposal and the election of a new Board of Education member for Seat 4.

The Custer County Election Board has announced the beginning of County Candidate Filing for the upcoming elections. Filing began Wednesday and will continue until 5 p.m. Friday.
On Tuesday evening, the Clinton City Council convened to address a range of important matters, with the fate of the Midtown Inn Motel being a primary focus. Council members unanimously voted to proceed with a demolition bid for the motel.
