Moore poised to serve two more years

Clinton’s Anthony Moore likely had a tremendous sigh of relief at 5:01 p.m. April 5. The time is significant because it meant the filing period for Dist. 57 State Representative had closed up shop and for the first time in his professional political career it meant he did not have an opponent.

Two from Clinton excel in contest

Two students from the Clinton community fared well in the recent Oklahoma Bar Association’s (OBA) Law Day essay contest, showcasing the strength of the students’ understanding of democracy. Mary Elizabeth Kauk, a senior at Corn Bible Academy, and Bella Bridgeman, an eighth grader at Clinton Middle School, both emerged victorious in their respective grade divisions.

Conducted a welfare check in the vicinity of 2300 Rd. and S. Frontage Rd. Responded to a report of a possible stolen vehicle in the 23000 block of E.
