DEAR HARRIETTE: I have ginger hair and hazel-brown eyes, while my wife is a brunette with brown eyes. Despite our genetics, our 2-year-old child is dark-haired with blue eyes with a speck of green. Arapaho-Butler High School held its annual Awards Assembly Monday, recognizing the achievements of its students. This year, the school celebrated more than $70,000 in scholarships awarded to its graduating seniors.

Free concert series starts this Friday

As the cool summer nights approach, residents of Clinton and the surrounding areas will once again have the Levitt AMP Clinton Music Series gearing up to deliver 10 free weeks of performances. The first concert of the summer is set to take place on Friday at the R.A. “Dick” Lloyd Amphitheatre in McLain Rogers Park.
