WTC-Sayre gets new director

Western Technology Center has announced Christy Glasscock as the site director at WTC-Sayre. Glasscock has been in education for 24 years and has relocated from Duncan where she was the middle school principal.

Megee earns statewide award

Duaina Megee, executive secretary for Dist. 2 District Attorney Angela Marsee, received the Outstanding Bogus Check, Restitution and Supervision Employee Award for 2023-2024. The annual award luncheon was held July 11 at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Tulsa was presented by the District Attorneys Council and Oklahoma District Attorneys Association.

The Clinton City Council gathered for an emergency meeting held noon Wednesday at City Hall to discuss approving two intrafund borrowing agreements involving the Clinton Hospital Authority and Clinton Regional Hospital. The borrowing agreements were both approved by the council via a 3-1 vote.
