Information about two area crashes was released Friday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Neither accident involved fatalities but did see people injured.

At Monday’s meeting of the Custer County commissioners, officials discussed plans in moving forward as well as tying up loose ends, while continuing to encourage the public to be safe and exercise caution on county roads.

DETROIT (AP) — A judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Detroit police in the wrongful arrest of a pregnant woman who was charged in a carjacking partly because of facial recognition technology.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The federal government filed two lawsuits Thursday against Southern California Edison, alleging the utility’s equipment sparked fires including January’s Eaton Fire in the Los Angeles area, which destroyed more than 9,400 structures and killed 17 people.
