“Oklahoma!” will be coming to the McLain Rogers Amphitheater in a production performed by Southwest Playhouse for the Centennial Celebration of Route 66 in 2026, as was discussed at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Clinton City Council. City Manager Robert Johnston also announced the Clinton Public Works Authority was approved for an FAP loan from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB), following a meeting that he and Public Works Director Gene McCullough had with the board in the city early on Tuesday.

TIPTONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — An attorney for a man charged with killing four members of the same family told a judge on Monday that he plans to request that a jury from outside the county hear the case, which set a swath of rural Tennessee on edge as the man eluded authorities for a week after the shootings.
