Based upon City Manager Robert Johnston’s recommendation, the Clinton City Council agreed in its most recent regular meeting to address the greens problem at Riverside Golf Course. Councilmembers were asked to consider the approval of funds to be used for restoration to the putting greens at Riverside Golf Course.

Even though the official Clinton Route 66 Centennial celebration is more than a year away, city officials are gearing up for the influx of visitors.

Anthony Reynolds, 42, of Clinton, was arrested Oct. 28 on the charge of trafficking more than 20 grams of methamphetamine and obstructing an officer.
