HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Republicans went to court in Pennsylvania on Thursday amid vote counting in the U.S. Senate election between Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican David McCormick, as the campaigns prepare for a recount and press counties for favorable ballotcounting decisions.

Management of Clinton Regional Hospital was recently taken over by Rural Hospital Solutions, Inc. (RHS). The company’s CEO Ben Campbell talked about large ambitions for what will be developed for the community of Clinton if the management of the hospital becomes permanent with a sale of the medical facility if approved by local voters.

Safe Families gets established here

Safe Families Oklahoma started in Clinton and the surrounding area toward the end of July. Safe Families Oklahoma is aimed at keeping children safe and keeping families together when a crisis occurs in the home, be it for incarceration, hospitalizations and several other things.

Custer County Treasurer Janet Roulet said letters have been mailed out to county homeowners in regard to ad valorem taxes.
