(AP) – An unprecedentedly bad year for beached dolphins on Cape Cod might have to do with warming waters changing the availability of the animals’ food, said scientists hoping to curb the strandings.

The Washita chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held their regular meeting Nov. 11 at Café Clinton. The meeting was opened by Regent Kay Hagerman.

While there are still some final touches to add to it, the Clinton City Council was presented with a report on the recent volunteer-led refurbishment of the M.T. and Helen Gholston Children’s Park at Acme.
