• While most public tap water is safe to drink, it’s always a good idea to be aware of certain red flags before you take a sip. One of the easiest ways to assess your water’s safety is to use your sense of smell. If water smells musty, metallic, fishy or like rotten eggs, that could indicate the presence of bacteria, organic matter or high levels of metals, including lead. Even a faint chlorine smell can mean excessive levels are present and should be filtered out before consuming.
DEAR HARRIETTE: My boyfriend and I recently got into a huge fight, and I’m still feeling upset about it. During our argument, he called me privileged, and it really struck a nerve. The Clinton Chamber of Commerce receives 15% of the tax revenue generated through hotel and motel stays in Clinton. The money is then used in a grant fund to support activities in Clinton providing an entity is approved by the chamber and the Clinton City Council.
