The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is currently looking into an alleged sexual assault having occurred on-campus at Thomas-Custer-Fay High School.

Custer County commissioners received a visit from District Attorney Angela Marsee at Monday’s meeting, during which she brought news of the Opioid Abatement Funds as well as a resolution to approve and accept beneficial interest in the Southwest Oklahoma Drug Addiction Trust, which was tabled for now but will be revisited in the future.

Several Washington Elementary School students were recognized this past week as “Character Champions,” for their hardworking nature with a free pizza lunch in an effort to encourage students to embrace better character traits.
