“These crowds keep getting smaller so I appreciate you being here. . . . Patriotism is not what it used to be. We need to kick-start it.”
Although City Manager Mark Skiles says the City of Clinton’s financial situation has improved markedly from a year ago, he says its proposed General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20 still will be using $246,285 from cash reserves to meet budget needs for the year starting July 1.
