A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jason Matthew Racelis Jr. , 21, of Clinton, on the charge of assault and battery with a deadly weapon by such means or force as is likely to produce death due to an alleged stabbing that took place Feb. 27 According to an affidavit of probable cause written by Clinton Police Department’s Detective Paul Sperle, at approximately 6:28 p.m. Feb. 27, officers were dispatched to Eastside Academy located at 215 E. Modelle Ave. in response to a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, Officer Braeden Blanchard made contact with a woman who directed him to a male victim who was lying on his front “unconscious and not responsive.”
A small new medical facility or clinic in Clinton will be opening sometime in the spring.
