Four guns were among items stolen in Clinton’s recent spate of automobile and home burglaries, Detective Capt. Ray Hammans said Thursday.

The guns were believed to have been stolen in or around the period from July 10 to July 15. Three were taken from automobiles and one from a house.

Enrollment is now open for the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department’s after-school program for the 2019-2020 school year, said recreation director Morgan Bonnarens.

New parking procedures will be in place at Clinton High School when school begins Aug. 8, said CHS Principal Paula Harp. For a small fee, students will receive an assigned parking space when they enroll next week. She hopes the change will create a safer environment for all students.
