Besides $27,500 to upgrade air handling in the County Jail, Custer County commissioners also spent $5,000 Monday to renew Custer’s membership in an organization that could save the lives of some of its emergency responders some day.
Fundraising has kicked off for the 2019-2020 “Backpacks for Kids” program, which serves hungry elementary students in Clinton and Arapaho.
