While it is not yet collected or spent, state government officials must forecast estimated revenues well into the future. The use of economic projections is both a science and an art form. When the myriad of charts, graphs, and data points are distilled, predicting revenue to be collected during the following year is an educated guess – a carefully crafted and considered effort – but an estimation nonetheless.

Last weekend was beautiful for February in this part of Oklahoma, but one wouldn’t have known it by the number and severity of area auto accidents.
Today’s chilly temperatures were nowhere in sight Sunday afternoon when these Arapaho-Butler students took advantage of unseasonably warm weather to go fishing at Acme Park Lake.
The weather was nearperfect for getting outside this weekend, which may have been one reason for the light turnout for Clinton’s monthly community cleanup day, held the first Saturday of each month.
