Progress continues to be made on the new Corn Bible Academy building under construction in south Clinton.
Arapaho-Butler Elementary School principal Brad Southall said the school is trying something new this year for its annual pancake supper fundraiser. In addition to the pancake supper, which will be open from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 in the A-B Elementary cafeteria, a “Parents’ Night” will also be held from 6-7:30 p.m.
The Clinton High School Gold Mock Trial Legal Team has been advanced to State Semi- Finals, where they will compete against approximately 40 other teams from across the state in the Oklahoma Bar Association Mock Trial competition. Pictured at the Chickasaw Judicial Center in Ada are, front row from left, Cara Herrera, co-captain Madison Hall, Alexia Vasquez, Hardy Sperle, Uriah Mitra and Riley Farmer; and back row, teacher/coach Ms. Ashley Kelley, Chelsea Nickel, Jayden Oyler, co-captain Connor Williams, Moises Villanueva, volunteer Chase Maxwell and Andy Balderas. After a lot of hard work, the CHS team is among the top eight teams moving forward.
