Properties on which taxes have been in arears for four consecutive years will be auctioned off in Custer County’s annual resale, said Custer County Treasurer Janet Roulet. The event will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, and in order to make social distancing easy it will be held outside this year on the steps of the Custer County Courthouse in Arapaho.

Area students earn degrees from SWOSU

After the 2019 fall and 2020 spring semesters, 18 students from Clinton have completed requirements for either an associate, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

In addition to the list of Southwestern Oklahoma State University spring 2020 honor roll recipients recently published in the Clinton Daily News for the spring 2020 semester, Clinton High School graduate Bryler Atchley was named to the President’s Honor Roll, the requirements for which are that the undergraduate earn all A’s in 12 or more credit hours during the semester.

Registration is now open for the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association’s (OCA) 68th Annual Convention and Trade Show, which will take place July 24 and 25 at Marriot Tulsa Hotel Southern Hills in Tulsa.
