A small gathering, made up mostly of elected officials from across the state, met Tuesday at the Frisco Center to discuss the state senate redistricting process that is required every 10 years to coincide with the updated U.S. Census.

According to the Oklahoma State Election Board, Republicans now outnumber Democrats in Custer County by more than a two-to-one margin. Each year, on Jan. 15, the State Election Board releases the official voter registration statistics for the state and each county.
