Because of COVID-19, ODOT is doing a virtual unveiling of two options for the I-40 Exit 65 and 65A interchanges in Clinton. People are encouraged to visit www.odot.org/I40CusterExit65 and participate in a “virtual open house” detailing the proposed improvements. After watching, viewers are encouraged to make comments on the plans. The virtual roll out is scheduled to be on the web site today and will be available for viewing and comment through Dec. 16, 2020. Once a final design is approved, engineering can begin. The project is scheduled to go out for bid in 2024.

COVID-19 precautions have caused Clinton Public Schools’ athletics department to lose thousands of dollars in funding.
The Clinton Public School Foundation awarded one junior and nine seniors with concurrent scholarships for the spring semester Tuesday.
Currently the Custer County Treasurer’s Office is closed to the public due to a lack of employees present.
