One to two Custer County deputies may possibly be on administrative leave. At this time, it could not be confirmed with the Custer County Sheriff’s Office.

The Clinton Daily News reached out to school and law enforcement officials about what prompted the protest, but because it involved juveniles they could not comment. A school official did say it did not happen on school grounds.
