City to tackle pipe damage

By a 5-0 vote, the Clinton City Council declared an emergency in order to expedite repairs to the wastewater plant and water distribution problems caused by the bitter cold weather last month.

A Burns Flat man was transported by Medi-Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City following a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon on a county road three miles south and three miles east of Canute.
