Grants for the spring semester from the Clinton Public School Foundation were announced last week.

Local emergency personnel, including Clinton Fire Department Capt. Blake Shaddon, responded to a wreck around 11:30 a.m. Friday on the Washita River Bridge, north of Clinton. This vehicle appeared to be pulling a trailer and lost control, causing the car to flip over upon its top. The mangled remnants of the trailer are pictured below. One person was transported to the hospital by Sinor EMS.
A woman was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend back in July at a Clinton motel and a warrant was issued Tuesday for his arrest.
A Guthrie man was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 4:20 p.m. Thursday four miles east of Corn.
