CPS teachers to be honored

Clinton Public Schools will be hosting its first retirement reception for all teachers and faculty for the last two school years which totals to nearly 400 years of combined experience.

Two adults and two young children died, and a 16-year-old survived after being involved in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 approximately five miles west of Clinton after a vehicle was discovered Monday afternoon.

Two area residents were flown to Oklahoma City after a two-car collision one mile south of Clinton on Highway 183 and County Road East 1066 around 7 p.m. Monday.

Huge transformers headed to area wind farms

Thousands of pounds of wind turbine equipment is being brought all the way from Mexico to Clinton, and residents should be ready to make way for the large truck loads.
