Rabies vaccinations urged

Clinton Animal Control Officer Heather Estrada warns animals should be vaccinated against rabies as soon as possible as skunk season is in full swing.

Turns out Foss State Park is a popular destination this upcoming weekend and this summer, as Park Manager Barry Hardaway said all the RV spots are full for Memorial Day weekend and beyond.

Kinder promoted at Southwestern

Dr. Chad Kinder has been named special assistant to the president for strategic partnerships at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford effective July 1.

Maintenance underway at schools

Summer maintenance is underway for Clinton Public Schools and there are a variety of projects to be addressed. Along with the typical summer maintenance repairs like cleaning and outdoor maintenance, the maintenance staff has some big projects lined up for the summer.
