As of press time, the hospital is waiting on hearing back from the State in determining whether Clinton Regional will qualify for status as a Rural Emergency Hospital. Wednesday marked 10 working days from the state’s evaluation, the length of time the state provides as to when status will be determined.

Less than three weeks after being added to Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list, Justice Jauquin Jones is in police custody. The 20-year-old, wanted for charges including rape, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and robbery, turned himself in to authorities in Oregon on Oct. 4.
