The Free Medical Clinic is held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. This clinic is set to be held at Clinton’s First United Methodist Church basement and this free service is available for people who do not have medical insurance.

Musk thistles invading area

Musk thistles are rampaging all over Oklahoma, including Clinton. This ultra-invasive plant, scientifically known as the Carduus Nutans, can be deceiving as it appears to be a normal purple flower, but it is actually an invasive weed that can do quite a bit of harm with 10-16 heads and more than 10,000 seeds.

Options being considered for motel property

The Clinton Economic Development Authority began laying out plans for the Glancy Motel and former Pop Hicks Restaurant property if the sale to CEDA goes as planned.
