Evening collision

Two vehicles collided around 6 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Gary Boulevard and Jaycee Lane. According to local authorities, all of the parties involved refused treatment at the scene.

Lucas wants update on cattle market inquiry

Congressman Frank Lucas (R-OK) joined Congressman Michael Guest (R-MS) and Congressman Darren Soto (D-FL) in sending a bipartisan letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland requesting the U.S. Department of Justice provide updates or a final report to Congress on the DOJ’s investigations into anticompetitive conduct within the beef industry.

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission took a big step forward on the I-40 Exit 65-65A project Monday when it awarded a $2,593,695 contract to Garver-LLC, to do the final design work on the new interchange.
