Despite all of the potential hazards around a house the National Home Security Alliance says that falls are the leading cause of death due to home accidents. Falls are responsible for onethird of all homerelated fatalities. Although seniors are the group most affected by falls, these types of accidents can affect anyone.

Rodeo royalty to be crowned Saturday

The 74th annual Rafter D Clinton Rodeo is this weekend and winners of the Clinton Rodeo Pageant will be crowned at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Clinton’s Edge Church lead pastor Easton Page allegedly received several threatening phone calls recently from Los Angeles resident Jesus De Horta, 27, regarding bomb threats and mass shootings.

The Clinton Police Department, like almost every other department throughout the nation, is currently looking for quality people to join its staff, according to CPD Chief Paul Rinkel.

Community stuffs backpacks for kids
