After several attempts to acquire information, Friday morning Clinton Police Chief Paul Rinkel released an official statement regarding the death of a male suspect that started experiencing a medical emergency at the Clinton City Jail.

The Days Inn Motel experienced an armed robbery Sept. 4 around 12:40 a.m. when an unidentified adult male came in and demanded money from the hotel teller, Clinton resident Timothy Zubah.

Gathered assembly

Protesters gathered around 1 p.m. Friday to walk from 13th Street and Nowahy to Gary Boulevard with the path stopping at Clinton City Hall. See more pictures in the Tuesday edition of the Clinton Daily News.
