Clinton’s sales tax collections this fiscal year are currently 17% above those at the same point last calendar year, said City Treasurer Debra Blanchard. The city has collected six months’ worth of sales tax for the 2021-2022 fiscal year totaling almost $3.1 million.
Officer Adam Hopper is one of the newest employees at the Clinton Police Department. Hopper is a Cordell resident with prior law enforcement experience. He was a sergeant at the Cordell Police Department for a year. Hopper said he is excited to use his knowledge to serve the Clinton community.
