Tribes seek to win back land from 150 years ago

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, a Native American nation in Oklahoma, is trying to negotiate with the Trump administration to see if it can help win back a piece of land that was taken over by the federal government more than 150 years ago.

(AP) — A New Hampshire town’s attempt to force a bakery to remove or alter its painting that shows sunbeams shining down on a mountain range of doughnuts, a muffin, a cinnamon roll and other pastries is unconstitutional, a judge ruled in a First Amendment dispute.

Beat the heat

With summer finally knocking on the doorstep, the Levitt AMP Clinton Music Series is set to return at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the R.E. “Dick” Lloyd Amphitheatre in McLain Rogers Park with Oklahoma duo The Imaginaries making their Clinton return as well.
