(AP) — The Biden administration is asking the Supreme Court to block the Texas law banning most abortions, while the fight over the measure's constitutionality plays out in the courts.

Clinton’s Halloween comes early this year as the annual trunk or treat will be Oct. 30. Chamber of Commerce president Julie Caldwell encourages residents to do their trick-ortreating that day as well. The trunk or treat and the Kiwanis costume contest will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Frisco Avenue from 5 to 10 Street. The streets will be shut down for the duration of the events.
The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton has seen an increase of visitors over the past three months, apparently due to COVID-19 numbers going down.
Clinton resident Lana Johnston was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) which meant the cancer hadn’t spread beyond the milk ducts into surrounding tissue. She was 55 years old when diagnosed.
