Elections for District 26 state senator, District 57 state representative, and District 1 county commissioner as well as primaries for the state offices of governor, attorney general, commissioner of labor, corporation commissioner, state auditor and inspector, superintendent of public instruction, District 3 U.S. representative and U.S. senator were also held.
