Repairs to the Acme Brick Park railroad bridge, the hiring of a second school resource officer, and an update on restoration of the Glancy Motel were discussed at Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Clinton City Council. The council also met as the Clinton Hospital Authority, but that portion of the meeting was in executive session with the public and press barred and no action was taken.
As summer comes to an end, so do days spent at the Clinton public swimming pool in McLain Rogers Park. The pool’s last day open will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday with admission free to the public.
The Clinton Economic Development Authority met for a special meeting Tuesday to discuss Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority funding and and approved a sales tax incentive agreement with the newly opened Sleep’s Bakery.
