WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden continued a 75year tradition Monday and pardoned a pair of Thanksgiving turkeys named after his favorite flavor of ice cream while cracking jokes about his political party's better-than-expected performance in this month's midterm elections.

Gobble till we wobble

The Clinton Veterans Center recently participated in its annual Thanksgiving dinner provided by Ghost Mound, Christian Motorcyclist Association, XODUS and Sons of Smoke. The Thanksgiving meal was provided to the veterans that reside there.

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, the holiday season is in full swing, but with that comes uncertainty for some families struggling to make ends meet. Local organizations like Opportunities INC and Connections Food and Resource Center are working to ensure that all families have what they need this holiday season.
