CPS grads receive biliteracy seal

Three 2023 Clinton High School graduates were selected to receive the Oklahoma Seal of Biliteracy, an award given by the Oklahoma State Department of Education in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in English as well as an additional language upon high school graduation. Morgandee Fernandez, Stacey Franco and Diana Mejia were each selected for their proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Monday the Custer County Treasurer’s Office will be holding its yearly Delinquent Tax Sale outside of the Custer County Courthouse in Arapaho. Up for auction will be properties across the county that have been delinquent on their taxes for the past four years. Owners of atrisk properties have until the sale starts at 9 a.m. Monday to pay in cash at least one year of their delinquent property taxes to stave off the property changing hands.

Summer Playground underway
