House lost in early morning blaze

The Clinton Fire Department was busy early Friday morning when a fence fire led to a home going up in flames in the 300 block of Van Buren Drive. While there were no injuries in the blaze, the house is considered to be a total loss from smoke and heat damage after flames on the home’s carport quickly spread.
